On 30 April 2026, EASA published Airworthiness Directive No. 2026-0086 concerning the SZD-54-2 “Perkoz”, which requires an inspection of the welded joint between the lever and the torsion tube of the airbrake drive in the fuselage of the SZD-54-2 “Perkoz” sailplane.

Classic SZD gliders at the anniversary weekenend

Come and see the SZD Glider Jubilee Rally 2026 on Friday May 1. and Sunday May 3. Celebrate with us the 80th anniversary of SZD. That weekend, you’ll have the unique opportunity to see, touch and fly up to 30 classics SZD designs from the history of Polish gliding history at the Bielsko-Biała Aeroclub, Aleksandrowice airfield. The historic gliders will be presented by Aerosploty commentator Marek Siuta during the air show on May 2. See you there!

Perkoz Duo at the Balloons Night 2025 in Leszno

25k people watched the Perkoz Duo at the Leszcynska Noc Balonowa (LNB) on September 30th from the Lotnisko Leszno airfield. In the air show, Mariusz and Adam, the pilot duo, glide elegantly alongside, through, and above the 65 balloons.
