EASA published Airworthiness Directive No. 2026-0086 for SZD- 54-2 “Perkoz"
On 30 April 2026, EASA published Airworthiness Directive No. 2026-0086 concerning the SZD-54-2 “Perkoz”, which requires an inspection of the welded joint between the lever and thetorsion tube of the airbrake drive in the fuselage of the SZD-54-2 “Perkoz” sailplane.

Inspection details are described in No. BE-004/54-2/2026, while the procedures for restoring the airworthiness of gliders found to have cracks at the connection between the lever and the airbrake actuation torque tube are specified in BE-004/54-2/2026 Revision 1. The bulletin, Revision 1, applies to gliders up to and including serial number 542.A.25.049.
