80 Years! We celebrate 3 days in May

Airshow is coming back to Bielsko-Biała! Join us for a fantastic May holiday weekend as we celebrate 80 years of SZD and 90 years of the Aleksandrowice airfield — three days full of aviation history, excitement, and attractions.

There will be an SZD Glider Jubilee Rally on May 1 and 3. The program includes activities with classic SZD designs, tours of the Bielsko-Biała Aeroclub hangars, visits to the SZD factory, and small-scaled themed workshops. It is a real treat both for aviation and technical history enthusiasts, as well as for the residents of Bielsko-Biała, whose family histories are often linked to this unique place.

The main event will be the AEROSPLOTY air show – aerial displays at Aleksandrowice Airport May 2. On this day, masters of aerobatics will grace the sky. Visitors will be able to see dynamic aerial displays, flights by historic gliders, aerobatics, and an evening show with live music and impressive pyrotechnics.

The event is a passionate gathering in the spirit of celebrating the gliding traditions so important to Bielsko- Biała's city history.

Everyone is welcome — aviation enthusiasts, families with children and everyone interested in celebrating with us. Let’s spend the long May weekend with our heads in the clouds!
