Sailpalne for Aerobatics and Cross-Country
The SZD-59-1 ACRO, successor of the renowned SZD-59 ACRO, is a multi-purpose, single-seat glider with three different wingspans. This sailplane can be used for high-level aerobatics, cross-country flights, and standard-class competitions.
The secret of the ACRO’s versatility lies in its exceptional stability and manoeuvrability, its durable construction, its asymmetrical wing profile as well as its permissible overloads.
Whether it be for competition or pure enjoyment – more and more pilots have come to appreciate the challenge and appeal of glider aerobatics. With the different wing tips of the ACRO they are not missing the great freedom of cruising.

ACRO – The Best Choice for Aerobatics and Glide Performance
With a 13.2 meter wingspan, the ACRO offers unlimited possibilities during aerobatic flights. The +7/-5 g loads allow pilots to perform aerobatic glider figures as described in the Aresti Catalogue.

ACRO – The Versatile Three-in-one Single-Seater
Using wingtips with winglets, our aerobatic glider can be reconfigured up to a 15-meter wingspan for standard-class flights. The whole process takes no longer than two minutes. A glide ratio of 40 makes the sailplane suitable for cross-country events. Due to huge water tanks holding 150 litres, pilots can reach significantly higher cruising speeds than their competitors.
ACRO – The Very Best When It Comes to Cost Efficiency and Flying Pleasure
With newly developed winglets, the wingspan increases up to 16,5 meters. Thus, the ACRO turns into an exceptionally powerful companion for long cross-country trips. Thanks to the new airbrakes on the top wing‘s surface, approaching for landings and rolling down will always be safe and easy after a long cruise.
The ACRO is the optimal solution for glider pilots who use their talent in various types of flying gliders.
