The aerobatic figures can be flown with the aerobatic category (A) of the SZD-59-1 ACRO with 13.2 meter span and flat wing end.
- Symbols and data are only for illustrative purpose. They are NO guidance for operational use.
- For basic data of recommended entry speed and related g‐loads of the SZD-59-1 ACRO refer to Flight Manual Chapter 4.5.8.
- The glider must always be flown under the limitations as per its Flight Manual.
- Always fly inside the flight envelope!
- VS1 is a stall speed for sailplane’s configuration (cabin’s load/MTOM)
- DO NOT TAKE A RISK ‐ some combinations of figures combined with insufficient pilot’s skills may result in over speeding and overstressing of your glider!

The SZD-59-1 ACRO glider has three different wing spans, making it versatile beyond aerobatics. The aerobatic glider has a wingspan of 13.2 meters, which can be extended to 15 meters or 16.5 meters with wing extensions. This makes the ACRO a high-performance standard class sailplane. The 16.5 wingspan significantly improves cross-country performance with a glide ratio of 43.
Feel free to contact us any time – we will gladly offer personal advice about the three versions of the ACRO.
