Allstar-e-motion: Load Test of Propeller Blades

Learn what it takes for a propeller blade to prove its flight worthiness!

The strength of a carbon blade was validated in this development test. The centrifugal force, which acts on the propeller blade and hub during rotation in flight, is simulated with a static pull test. To ensure sufficient structural strength under all operational conditions, the propeller blade is subjected to a test load equivalent to almost 2 tons, leading to significant deformation.

The preparations for the certification test program of all components of the electric propulsion system Allstar-e-motion is in progress. More updates about the electric glider SZD-55-2 NEXUS-e-motion will follow.
